A late night turns into an early morning, dozing off to the sounds of nature,
falling asleep tossing and turning, thoughts running through my mind. Finally I wake up to a morning talk, morning smoke. Like every other day. The day goes on and on, finally it's time for the trip back home. Having the opportunity to spend time with the kids, a weekend at my place. Giving the parents time to themselves. Helping out and having fun, what can go wrong? Driving back, kids are yelling. Hitting. Screaming, but laughing, excited to have time away. Seeing the look in their eyes, the smiles on their faces and feeling the excitement they show, makes me smile in itself. Getting back, setteling in, they have to play video games, have to have a million snacks, have to look around in places they shouldn't... kids. Finally falling asleep, spread across my bed, their eyes shut and in total peace, once again I smile. Now my turn once again, I stay awake hours later, thinking. Thoughts running through my mind as if everything is wrong, as if everything is comming to a hult. I must remember; the best things in life are worth waiting for. I must toss and turn every night, I must do what needs to be done. I must stay up and ponder. I must survive. A late night turns into an early morning...
